Riot House

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 5/5 hearts!

This is a phenomenal book. I devoured it, and I really hope we get to see these characters again. I’ve always had a sweet spot for academy stories. This one did not disappoint either. There was so much mystery, suspense, and many secrets.

Elodie comes off as this weak meek girl when she is everything but that. There is nothing I love more than a heroine with a backbone. Elodie past is awful, and she tries everyday to forget and move on. I loved that her she used her past to make her stronger. She was not a weak character. She did feel an instant attraction to Wren, but she didn’t play his games.

Wren was the perfect angsty teen. He was the ruler of the school with his friends, but he was also a loner. He was a bit obsessed with Elodie before she came to the school, but he didn’t expect to fall for her after meeting her. I enjoyed seeing his character grow. He matured right before my eyes, and I couldn’t be more proud by the end. These two balanced each other out perfectly. Wren needed to be taken town a peg, and Elodie was there to do it for him. I loved watching him doing everything in his power to make her happy.

Every single character you meet has a different past and secrets. I honestly didn’t want the story to end, so I could learn everything about everyone. I really hope there is more books form this world. I will definitely be watching this author!

I received an AC for a honest review.
