❤️❤️❤️❤️ 4/5 hearts!
I have to say, Elise Faber is becoming one of my top authors. It’s crazy how she is able to easily captivate, and pull me into the story so fast. She leaves me wanting more from start to finish. Rum and Notes is a significantly outstanding book that I couldn’t put down. It’s fun, quick, and I wanted to read every single story of the characters I meet in this book.
Brooke is a writer for steamy romance books, and writes at a bar called Bobby’s. Kace is the extremely sexy tattooed bartender, who has been secretly pining for her. Brooke believes she isn’t beautiful enough for someone as hot as Kace. She think’s that she’s too shy, quiet, and awkward, but that’s exactly why Kace wants her. He becomes the perfect fit for her, and helps her realize how beautiful she truly is.
Kace is my favorite type of book boyfriend. He’s patient, puts Brooke first, supportive in her career, and is protective. Many times, Kace backed off until he knew she was ready. He knew under her armor was something worth waiting for. I love the way Brooke and Kace were able to open up to each other. There was absolutely no judgement, and they understood each other in ways most wouldn’t.
This is a fast paced plot that kept me intrigued the entire time. The only con I had was that it was a short read. I loved the style of writing, and wanted more of this fantastic love story. I’m definitely looking forward to the other books in this series. There is just something truly special about sweet love that this book was able to show case.
I received an ARC for an honest review.
