❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 5/5 Hearts!
This is one of those stories that is really hard to review without giving anything away. I know for a fact my review will not do it justice, with how well written and captivating the book is. I couldn’t put it down, and I probably read it way too fast. C.R. Jane and Rebecca Royce have created one of my favorite series with Stupid Boys.
This story wasn’t action packed, or as suspenseful as the first book in the series. That does not mean it wasn’t just as great though. There are several backstories that will pull at your heartstrings. It’s raw, honest, and so many different types of vulnerable. At this point, no one is holding anything back. In this story we learn about how horrifying her uncle is, and how big this world truly is.
The depth of Holland’s character seems bottomless. I was mesmerized with how thoroughly the authors dove into her life. We learn of her life growing up, and how her uncle broke her, and reformed her into what she is today. Her story is heartbreaking. At times I wanted to pull her out of the book, and give her the love that she deserved.
I have been patiently waiting for this one since November, and it was worth the wait. The wait for Crazy love (July) will be just as intense.
