White Raven

Back in 2016, I read the Raven Series by J.L. Weil. It was my first time reading a book by J.L Weil, but it definitely was not my last. The Raven series was in my top 10 books for 2016. I remember having to wait for the 3rd book, and I was pretty impatient. I absolutely love J.L. Weil’s style of writing, and I’m always a sucker for paranormal romance.

White Raven # 1

Black Crow # 2

Soul Symmetry # 3

After the passing of her mother, Piper and her brother are sent to her grandmothers house in Raven Hallow. Piper is feeling bitter about the move until she sees the mysterious island bad boy, Zane Hunter. She can’t seem to stay away, even though everyone warns her against him. Strange things start happening around Piper, and Zane keeps showing up to save her life. In the first book, Piper discovers who she truly is. In the second book she trains for her important role, and the third book is when the war starts.

It was an emotional discovery of who Piper is, and who she’s supposed to be. There isnÔÇÖt anything better than true love that you fight for, and when it wins in the end. I was swooning one moment, and then yelling the next. There is growth of every character in each book. Piper went from being extremely crass and bitter to showing how sweet she could be, and caring for everyone. It was easy to fall in love with Zane, and he always had Pipers best interest in mind, even if he was a jerk most of the time. I was so absorbed in the plot line, and binged every book. It had action, friendship, love, suspense, and I couldnÔÇÖt predict what was going to happen. I would recommend this to anybody who loves reading a unique paranormal romance.
