❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 5/5 hearts!
Happy Throw Back Thursday! Do you remember the book that hooked you on reading? I was looking for a hobby, and my husband suggested reading. I remember that I HATED reading back in high school, and that left me skeptical. We went to Barnes and Noble though just to look around. After awhile, I wandered over to the YA section, and found a cover that intrigued me. I went home with that book and it’s intriguing cover, and within a week I had the whole series read. For the next few weeks I was binge reading, series after series. Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick was the book that got me hooked on reading.
Nora, an average teenager, was reseated next to the mysterious new high school student, Patch. Anytime Nora is by Patch, she obtains weird and strange feeling. Add that to Nora being convinced someone is stalking her, and possibly might want her dead. She isn’t sure who to trust. Whenever she tries to seek answers, she finds truths that are way more unsettling than what Patch makes her feel.
I fell deeply in love with this book. A battle between immortals and fallen angels.. What is there not to love about that? There was enough suspenseful action that kept me hooked, page after page. Nora was a strong lead, and I absolutely adore Patch. Their connection was addicting, and Path constantly showed Nora how much he loved her. I remember laughing out loud at times, there was never a dull moment. This is the best type of fiction. The plot was extremely well put together and developed. It was written straight forward, and it was easy to read. I will never forget this book, and I can’t appreciate Becca Fitzpatrick enough.
